Real Bread Week

If there’s one thing I could live off, it’s bread.

And I would be a very podgy lady. On the eve of the launch of Real Bread Week, I visited Aspire Photography Training to do a photoshoot with Aiden Monks, owner of Lovingly Artisan in Kendal.

Aiden’s signature sourdough is Mature Cheddar and Chilli, which won the Gold Medal in 2016’s World Bread Awards. As Aiden’s strapline says, it really is ‘Bread with Northern Soul’.

Between 6 and 14 May 2017 bakeries and baking schools in the Real Bread Campaign’s supporter network will be laying on events throughout the country. So start the diet next week!
